As we continue to expand our services and client base, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of B2B SaaS Marketing to join our team and spearhead our demand generation efforts & Revenue ops.
As the Vice President of B2B SaaS Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing marketing strategies, developing and executing comprehensive Revenue R&D strategies that fuel the growth of our clients’ businesses. You will work closely with our clients, internal teams, and external partners to drive demand gen pipeline, increase brand visibility, building revenue game, and optimize conversion rates throughout the customer journey. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a deep understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, based on both inbound and outbound tactics, that drive pipeline creation and revenue growth.
This role reports to the CEO Rajat Ojha, and will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams of our clients. The ideal candidate is data driven, strategic, and willing to roll-up their sleeves to get things done. It requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, creativity, and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial culture.
In addition to these responsibilities, a VP of B2B SaaS Marketing may also be involved in the following activities:
Proven experience (5+ years) in B2B Marketing, preferably within the SaaS industry. And have managed Millions of Dollars as Paid ads spends.
Strong knowledge of demand generation strategies, B2B custumers Buying behavior, strong Marketing & Sales understanding, tactics, and technologies, including marketing automation platforms, CRM systems (Salesforce CRM), analytics tools and all Paid ads platforms (FB ads, LinkedIn Ads, Youtube ads, Retargeting etc).
Business understanding of B2B SaaS companies, their Product & Team management etc.
Strong analytical expertise to set measurable goals and evaluate campaign effectiveness using Data Analytics & processing, reporting etc. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing demand generation campaigns that resulted in measurable business impact.
Proficiency in leveraging marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for lead management and reporting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives, Team & Clients Micromanagment ability, Critical thinking, Challenging traditional status quo to accelerate Revenue, Fast Experimentation will, and manage a team of demand generation professionals to accelerate sales pipeline velocity.
The Director should possess strong leadership skills to drive cross-functional initiatives, manage a team of demand generation professionals, and provide guidance and support to team members. Leadership abilities are essential for fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Industry Knowledge: Keeping up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in demand generation for B2B SaaS companies is crucial. The Director should have a deep understanding of the SaaS industry, including its unique challenges and opportunities, to develop effective strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
Deep understanding of full-funnel performance marketing & growth levers (acquisition, adoption/activation, monetization, retention). You love marketing and stop at nothing to improve yourself to drive better results for your teammates and clients. You listen to podcasts, you’re active on LinkedIn, and you can’t stop reading about the latest trend in marketing.
Results Orientation: The Director must be results-oriented, constantly striving to achieve measurable business impact through demand generation efforts. This includes setting and monitoring KPIs, analyzing campaign performance, and making data-driven adjustments to optimize outcomes and drive growth.
You’ll be the main point of contact for multiple clients.
You’ll host bi-weekly calls, answer slack questions, and prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for clients.
You’ll coordinate execution of paid media campaigns with other Sr. Paid Media Managers, Copywriters, and Graphic Designers from the Blue Scalar Labs Team & Clients.
