As we continue to expand our services and client base, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of B2B SaaS Marketing to join our team and spearhead our demand generation efforts & Revenue ops.

What you’ll do at Blue Scalar Labs :

As the Vice President of B2B SaaS Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing marketing strategies, developing and executing comprehensive Revenue R&D strategies that fuel the growth of our clients’ businesses. You will work closely with our clients, internal teams, and external partners to drive demand gen pipeline, increase brand visibility, building revenue game, and optimize conversion rates throughout the customer journey. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a deep understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, based on both inbound and outbound tactics, that drive pipeline creation and revenue growth.

This role reports to the CEO Rajat Ojha, and will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams of our clients. The ideal candidate is data driven, strategic, and willing to roll-up their sleeves to get things done. It requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, creativity, and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial culture.

Responsibilities :

  1. Develop and Execute B2B SaaS Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy specifically tailored to the B2B SaaS industry, aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
    • Identify target markets, buyer personas, and key segments within the B2B SaaS space.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
    • Define marketing goals, Matrices and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  2. Lead and Manage the Marketing Team:
    • Recruit, hire, and onboard a team of skilled B2B marketers with expertise in various marketing disciplines such as demand generation, content marketing, and paid advertising.
    • Build and manage a team of marketing professionals. This includes hiring, training, and motivating the marketing team, as well as delegating tasks and ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goals.
    • Work with product and sales teams to ensure that marketing activities are aligned with product development and sales goals. This includes understanding the product roadmap, identifying potential sales opportunities, B2B Buyers behaviors, and creating marketing materials that support the sales team.
    • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Set clear expectations, goals, and performance metrics for individual team members and evaluate their performance regularly.
    • Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to the most impactful marketing initiatives.
  3. Demand Generation and Lead Nurturing:
    • Develop and execute demand generation strategies and campaigns to drive qualified leads for the B2B SaaS products or services.
    • Implement lead nurturing programs to engage and educate prospects throughout the buyer’s journey, utilizing marketing automation and CRM tools.
    • Collaborate closely with the sales team to align marketing and sales efforts, ensuring a smooth lead handoff and effective conversion of leads into customers.
    • Continuously optimize the lead generation and nurturing processes based on data analysis and feedback from the sales team.
  4. Branding, Positioning, and Messaging:
    • Develop and maintain the company’s brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
    • Define the unique value proposition and positioning of the company’s B2B SaaS offerings.
    • Create compelling messaging and content that resonates with the target audience, addressing their pain points and highlighting the benefits of the product or service.
    • Oversee the development of marketing collateral, website content, thought leadership materials, and other brand assets.
  5. Content Marketing and Thought Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy to establish the company as a thought leader and educate the target audience.
    • Create a content calendar and oversee the production of high-quality content assets, such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and webinars.
    • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to drive organic traffic and increase brand visibility.
    • Leverage content distribution channels, social media platforms, and industry partnerships to amplify the reach and impact of the content.
  6. Marketing Analytics and Reporting:
    • Establish real Matrices, Attibution, key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measurement frameworks to track the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
    • Utilize marketing analytics tools and platforms to gather insights, analyze data, and derive actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for the executive team, providing insights on marketing performance, ROI, and impact on business objectives.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in B2B SaaS marketing, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  7. Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, customer success, and executive leadership, to align marketing strategies with business objectives and ensure a consistent customer experience.
    • Engage with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to understand their needs and gather feedback that can inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to build brand visibility and network with industry professionals.

In addition to these responsibilities, a VP of B2B SaaS Marketing may also be involved in the following activities:

  • Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Developing and managing the company’s website and social media channels.
  • Creating and managing marketing content, such as depth Podcasts, Case studies, Targeted content creations to solve pain points of our ICP.
  • Overseeing the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Managing the marketing budget.

You Need :

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in B2B Marketing, preferably within the SaaS industry. And have managed Millions of Dollars as Paid ads spends.

  • Strong knowledge of demand generation strategies, B2B custumers Buying behavior, strong Marketing & Sales understanding, tactics, and technologies, including marketing automation platforms, CRM systems (Salesforce CRM), analytics tools and all Paid ads platforms (FB ads, LinkedIn Ads, Youtube ads, Retargeting etc).

  • Business understanding of B2B SaaS companies, their Product & Team management etc.

  • Strong analytical expertise to set measurable goals and evaluate campaign effectiveness using Data Analytics & processing, reporting etc. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing demand generation campaigns that resulted in measurable business impact.

  • Proficiency in leveraging marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for lead management and reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives, Team & Clients Micromanagment ability, Critical thinking, Challenging traditional status quo to accelerate Revenue, Fast Experimentation will, and manage a team of demand generation professionals to accelerate sales pipeline velocity.

  • The Director should possess strong leadership skills to drive cross-functional initiatives, manage a team of demand generation professionals, and provide guidance and support to team members. Leadership abilities are essential for fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Industry Knowledge: Keeping up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in demand generation for B2B SaaS companies is crucial. The Director should have a deep understanding of the SaaS industry, including its unique challenges and opportunities, to develop effective strategies and stay ahead of the competition.

  • Deep understanding of full-funnel performance marketing & growth levers (acquisition, adoption/activation, monetization, retention). You love marketing and stop at nothing to improve yourself to drive better results for your teammates and clients. You listen to podcasts, you’re active on LinkedIn, and you can’t stop reading about the latest trend in marketing.

  • Results Orientation: The Director must be results-oriented, constantly striving to achieve measurable business impact through demand generation efforts. This includes setting and monitoring KPIs, analyzing campaign performance, and making data-driven adjustments to optimize outcomes and drive growth.

  • You’ll be the main point of contact for multiple clients.

  • You’ll host bi-weekly calls, answer slack questions, and prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for clients.

  • You’ll coordinate execution of paid media campaigns with other Sr. Paid Media Managers, Copywriters, and Graphic Designers from the Blue Scalar Labs Team & Clients.

Pay Scale :

  • Salary = Rs 15 LPA to Rs 25 LPA , depending on years of experience and expertise.
